Viewing Picture IconsAs discussed in Chapter 5, any time you view the contents of a folder, WindowsExplorer is the program providing the view. So when you re viewing the contentsof your My Pictures or Shared Pictures folder, you have access to all the toolsdescribed in Chapter 5. For example, you can choose a view for displaying icons. In My Pictures or Shared Pictures, you re likely to find Filmstrip or Thumbnailsto be most useful. To choose a view, use whichever of the following methods convenient at the moment: .Click View in Explorer s menu bar; then click the view you want to use. .Click the Views button in Explorer s toolbar; then click the view youwant to use. .Right-click some empty space between icons in the main pane, andchoose View from the shortcut menu; then click a view name.
